12mm Euroform Easyboard Render Carrier Baby Board is an exterior grade class a1, non-combustible fibre cement board with mesh reinforcing facings.
It is one the first boards of its kind to combine the benefits of Ordinary Portland Cement into a light weight building board that is quick to install.
Easyboard is an ideal exterior sheathing board to SFS walling and may also be used for tile backing in areas of high moisture e.g. kitchens and bathrooms.
Manufactured with a unique process combining Ordinary Portland Cement, and a reinforcing matrix that enhances the workability and handling properties.
It is manufactured in 12.5mm thickness x 800mm wide x 1200mm long sheets and has a taper on the two long edges of the outer face of the board.
Easyboard® can be easily scored and snapped with a traditional utility knife, ideally using a straightedge and making an initial cut to the face of the board.
Apply pressure to the cut piece to open the joint up and then run the knife back along the scored line to cut the mesh to the reverse side of the panel to complete the cut.
When manually moving boards they should be carried in a vertical orientation.

12mm A1 Euroform Easyboard Installation Guidelines:
· Boards should be received in a dry state with pallets protected from weather with plastic sheeting or similar.
· Boards should be stored on flat, dry pallets elevated on skids/battens sufficiently from ground level to prevent board wetting.
· If boards are stored on site for a long period of time they should be kept under cover/indoors if possible.
· When manually moving boards they should be carried in a vertical orientation.
· Euroform recommends that Easyboard is installed in brick bond fashion.
· The first fixing in from the corner for both horizontal and vertical fixing must be 40mm in from the edge.
· 4-way joints are not recommended!
· Minimum board width should not be less than 600mm.
· Easyboard should be taped at the board joints with Euroform Versatape.
· Easyboard can be installed in either ‘portrait’ or ‘landscape’ orientation.
· Easyboard may be exposed once installed for up to 12 months before covering with a breather membrane or similar.
· For ceramic tile coverings, (tile dimensions ≤ 600 mm x 600 mm), use a flexible adhesive when placing tiles.
· Easyboard should be primed prior to tiling with an alkaline tolerant primer.
· Tile adhesive must as a minimum meet the requirements of class C2 according to EN 12004-1.
· When using Easyboard as floor tile substrate please ensure that board is fully supported.
· Structural flooring e.g. timber floor boards should be true and flat.
· Maximum tile weight for walls = 50 kg/m2.
· Maximum tile weight for floors = 100kg/m2.
· Easyboard can be easily scored and snapped with a traditional utility knife.
· Use a straight edge and make an initial cut to the face of the board.
· Apply pressure to the cut piece to open the joint up and then run the knife back along the scored line to cut the mesh to the reverse side of the panel to complete the cut.
· Where boards are used below and within 150mm of DPC level a compatible waterproofing membrane should be applied.
· Compatible EPDM membranes should be used around other areas at risk of water ingress e.g. at window openings.
· A suitable breather membrane should be used when using Easyboard® as a sheathing board.
· The board should not be relied on to prevent moisture ingress.

INSTALLERS
No matter whether you choose a local installer or a national company, there’s a few tips to help you find the right installer for your home insulation improvements, such as asking for recommendations and making sure that they’re part of a certification scheme. This makes sure that they have the right skills and standards of workmanship to carry out the installation, and you can be sure that they know exactly what they are doing.
4 TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE BEST INSULATION INSTALLER
1. Thermal inspection picture in portfolio
It’s worth seeing a installer’s previous work. There’s no harm asking if you can see any properties nearby that they’ve installed insulation in. Best way would be to see Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspections. Thermal cameras spot small, but key changes in temperature in different areas of a house, identifying problematic areas that the human eye never could and some that a visual inspection could only hypothesize.
2. Reviews
Along with checking recommendations and previous work, finding reviews online can often be a great way to find out if they provide a good service or not. However, it’s best not to solely rely on reviews you may find or review websites, as there’s no controlling who writes them.
3. Compare prices
Comparing prices will also ensure companies can’t take advantage of you and give you a fair price.
4. Word of Mouth
The best way to find a great insulation installer is through recommendations. Make sure you ask friends and family. They will most likely give you their honest opinion and can tell you from first hand experience.
Whether you require a wall, cladding, external wall, loft or floor insulation fitted, you can find and hire your local insulation installers from popular UK web pages. A simple internet search will return thousands of potential installers near your area.
