CEDRAL® CLADDING LAP TRIMS

Cedral® Lap cladding trims are aluminium engineered profiles designed for the aesthetic finishing and are available as a starter, internal or external corner, perforated closure or external corner junction. The Cedral® Lap aluminium profiles have everything you need to finish your facade beautifully. Using a combination of Cedral® aluminium profiles, you can be confident that your entire installation is strong and reliable. Our Cedral® colour matched trims including corners and edges, along with our Cedral® stainless steel nails and colour matched screws ensure your facade can be assembled quickly and correctly, creating a refined, premium finish. Trims, being aluminium, are water-resistant, long lasting and fairly easy to cut with metal blade equipped tools. Moreover, aluminium is distinguished by its excellent formability and high corrosion resistance. Moreover, cladding trims prevent building or occupying a nest by the insects, birds or pests without reducing any of the airflow. Cladding trims are available in standard lengths 2500mm or 3000mm. Cladding trims are usually screwed with stainless steel screws, then covered with weatherboard planks to create an invisible connection.

CEDRAL® LAP CLADDING STARTER PROFILE

Lap start profile is an accessory kick-out trim that can be used to start a Cedral® Lap façade installation with a lip to cover the first batten or above windows and doors. It  is 3000mm long and made from 0.9mm aluminium. Being invisible once fixed, starter profiles are not colourised at all, they are a plain mill finish. Lap starter profile can be screwed or nailed horizontally to the timber battens.

CEDRAL® LAP EXTERNAL SYMMETRIC CORNER

Cedral® Lap external corner is a comprehensive non-corrosive PPC aluminium trim that can be used vertically on 90 degree external corners of a build where the planks are lapped either side of the corner and for stop profile applications. Cedral® Lap Symmetric Corner Profile is 3000mm long and made from 0.9mm thick aluminium. Trims are powder coated on both sides to deliver a high quality durable finish.

CEDRAL® LAP EXTERNAL ASYMMETRIC CORNER

Cedral® Lap asymmetric corner is an universal aluminium trim that can be used to secure external corners and for use on the uprights of windows and doors (surround and support of the window and door units). It is diamond-shaped, 3000mm long and made from 0.9mm thick aluminium. This profile must be installed before the boards with the 34mm leg sitting behind the boards.

CEDRAL® LAP CLADDING CONNECTION PROFILE

Cedral® connection profile is an universal end trim specifically designed to finish Cedral® when used as a single piece on a window reveal or soffit. It is also used to protect your edges from impact and keeps flush edges. Can be fitted vertically or horizontally. It is supplied in 3 metre lengths and manufactured using high quality 1050 grade aluminium.

CEDRAL® LAP CLADDING PERFORATED CLOSURE

Cedral® perforated closure (insect mesh profile) is used to protect against pest infestation and debris. Made from aluminium and available in 2.5m length. Can be used to cap off battens at the top and bottom of all openings - for example above or below windows and doors. Trim also prevents building or occupying a nest by insects, birds or pests. It comes in 4 standard widths: 40mm, 50mm, 70mm and 100mm. Perforated closure profile perforations are 3mm by 10mm and cover both the face and the trim leg so the air flow gap behind the Cedral Weatherboard Cladding is maintained which is crucial for the complete façade system.

CEDRAL® LAP CLADDING INTERNAL CORNER

Cedral® Lap internal corner is an universal aluminium trim that can be used to finish the corner where Cedral plank meets an internal corner creating a seal between the profile and the corner. Installing these corners is the best way to ensure no leaks.
