ACOUSTIC SCREEDBOARD

Screedboard is a dry screed, interlocking product manufactured by Cellecta, made from calcium sulphate board reinforced with cellulose fibre. It is the ideal overlay floorboard for acoustic application incorporating underfloor heating applications due to its high thermal conductivity, enabling the system to run more efficiently, saving on reaction times. Dry screed boards have the lowest thermal resistance when compared to the chipboards or wet screed. Low thermal resistance allows ground water heat pumps and heat recovery systems to work efficiently to provide significant cost savings for the consumer. Product features interlocking edges for installation convenience and unrivalled acoustic performance, typically 5dB better than legislative requirements. The board is a high density and superior compressive strength resilient layer that provides outstanding acoustic performance and an ideal base to accept a multitude of floor finishes. To prevent flanking transmission, all walls and partitions must be isolated from the acoustic treatment with Yelofon FS edging strip. ScreedBoard floorboards accept direct application of various floor finishes including ceramic tiles, feature easy to install interlocking edges, and don’t contract or expand when exposed to water. It is available in either 20mm, 28mm or 30mm thickness. Panels come in size 1200mm x 600mm.
