IKO ENERTHERM® MICRO CELL TECHNOLOGY

IKO PLC has announced the official launch of its BBA approved insulation board, IKO enertherm, made with unique Micro Cell Technology (MCT). The aluminium-faced board has a multi-layer lamination for long lasting performance and an outstanding 0.022W/(m.K) lambda value, which means thermal insulation values can be met using thinner boards.

The Micro Cell Technology means IKO enertherm insulation boards retain their shape and dimensional stability longer than some other PIR boards. MCT has a very low long-term moisture absorption rate (<0.6%). This means the boards are rot and mould-resistant and don’t get heavier due to absorbing water, which reduces the thermal performance of the board. The MCT structure also gives enertherm more flexibility and excellent compressive strength, so the boards can be trafficked or walked on without rupturing or leaving indentations.

IKO Enertherm ALU 50 TG

IKO enertherm ALU 50 is a 100 % CFC, HCFC or HFC-free insulation board with a rigid polyisocyanurate foam core, clad on both sides with a 50 μm unmarked gastight aluminium layer.

Board has tongue and groove system for perfect connection. It can be installed with concrete screws and cover plates. 

The aluminium cladding can be painted.

IKO Enertherm KR ALU TG

IKO enertherm ALU TG is a 100 % CFC, HCFC or HFC-free insulation board with a rigid polyisocyanurate foam core, clad on both sides with a multi-layer gastight aluminium complex.

Floor insulation (underfloor heating and concrete floors)

This high-quality reflecting ALU cladding consists of no fewer than seven layers, combined into a single complex. It is tested under extreme conditions in respect of water absorption, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and emissivity.

Rooftop: flat roof insulation for timber, concrete and steel deck.

Sarking: pitched roof insulation (type nF with neutral felt).

Floor: floor insulation (underfloor heating and concrete floors).

Wall: cavity wall insulation.

Wrap: outside wall insulation (closed joints).

IKO Enertherm ALU 50 LEVEL

IKO enertherm ALU 50 LEVEL is an insulation board that is 100% free from CFC, HCFC and HFC, with a rigid polyisocyanurate foam core, clad on both sides with a multilayer gastight aluminium complex. To prevent any unevenness between the inner cavity sheet and the insulation board, IKO enertherm ALU LEVEL is finished on the inner cavity sheet with 25mm of mineral wool with a glass fibre top coat.

IKO Enertherm ALU NF 

IKO enertherm ALU NF is used for the thermal insulation of pitched roofs on the rafters or on the trusses. This high-quality reflecting ALU cladding consists of no fewer than seven layers, combined into a single complex. It is tested under extreme conditions in respect of water absorption, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and emissivity. Tongue and groove edge provides for a windproof and thermal shield without cold bridging. Approx. 60 % thinner than traditional structure between the rafters.

IKO Enertherm ALU NF PRO 

The IKO enertherm ALU NF PRO board comes with integrated vapour-permeable undertile felt. Integrated vapour-permeable undertile felt provided with a double adhesive strip. IKO enertherm ALU is a 100 % CFC, HCFC and HFC-free insulation board with a core in hard polyisocyanurate foam, coated on both sides with a multi-layer gastight aluminium complex with integrated vapour permeable waterproofing barrier and self-adhesive strips.

FLAT ROOF INSULATION 

IKO Enertherm BGF 

IKO enertherm BGF is a 100 % CFC, HCFC or HFC-free insulation board with a rigid polyisocyanurate foam core, clad on both sides with a polypropylene-covered bitumen sand and tallow-free glass membrane. BGF board has compressive strength at 10% deformation: ≥ 150kPa (15ton/m²) and water vapour diffusion resistance: PIR foam: μ = 60 – lamination: μ > 100

IKO Enertherm MG

IKO enertherm MG is an insulation board with a rigid polyisocyanurate foam core, clad on both sides with a perforated coated glass membrane.

APPLICATION

Flat roof insulation in combination with plastic membranes.

IKO Enertherm BM

IKO enertherm BM is used for the thermal insulation of flat roof. Made to install with torch-on bituminous membrane sections or mastic asphalt systems: bituminized sand and talc free glass fibre to be applied facing upwards. Board has a straight edge. To install to synthetic roof sections: perforated coated glass fibre to be applied facing upwards.

INSIDE WALL INSULATION 

IKO Enertherm GYPSUM

IKO enertherm GYPSUM is an insulation board with a core in hard polyisocyanurate foam, coated on both sides with a multilayer gas-tight complex, and fitted on one side with an ABA gypsum board with a thickness of 12.5mm.
