Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth 5.5m² Roll is a high performance lining paper with a smoother finish resulting in lower paint consumption and a beautifully modern overall look.

Fibreliner Smooth is not only made with paper fibres, but also has polyester textile fibres which act to reinforce the paper and the surface it is applied to.

Strength and stability ensure that Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth is easy to use, delivering perfect results that are resistant to expansion and shrinkage.

As with standard Wallrock Fibreliner it can be hung straight from the roll for quick and easy application.

High tensile strength makes it ideal for covering cracked and damaged walls and in most cases stops the cracks reappearing completely.

Ideal for overhanging on Wallrock R300 Cosy Liner, Wallrock Thermal Liner and Wallrock Thermal Liner KV600.

The use of Wallrock Power Adhesive or another good quality ready mixed adhesive is strongly recommended to ensure problem free application and a long service life.

Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth 150 Lining Paper Installation Guide:

 · Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth offers two surface finishes.

 · The outer surface of the roll offers an improved finish for either painting or over hanging with wallpaper.

 · We recommend that the inner surface of the roll is applied to the wall.

 · Cut all lengths required allowing extra for trim at each end, or simply hang directly from the roll onto a pre-pasted wall or ceiling.

 · Apply the inner surface to the wall. Please note Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth can also be hung horizontally, especially useful if you intend to overhang with a decorative wallpaper.

 · Mark a guideline with a pencil for the first length, using a plumbline as a guide for vertical drops or a spirit level for horizontal application.

 · If applying the adhesive directly to the wall or ceilings, apply enough to hang one or two lengths at a time, ensuring the paste exceeds the width of the second length.

 · If pasting the material (either side) make sure all edges are covered. With both methods, hang Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth immediately - no soaking is required.

 · Apply the first length along the guideline and smooth out with a wallpaper brush then trim the ends.

 · Butt join all subsequent lengths being careful not to overlap the edges.

 · Allow Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth to dry thoroughly before decorating with emulsion paint or overhanging with another wallcovering (normally 24 hours is sufficient).

 · Wallrock Fibreliner Smooth is also ‘dry strippable’ in many applications.

 · We strongly recommend the use of a good quality ready mixed adhesive, such as our Wallrock Power Adhesive, for application of this product.

INSTALLERS

No matter whether you choose a local installer or a national company, there’s a few tips to help you find the right installer for your home insulation improvements, such as asking for recommendations and making sure that they’re part of a certification scheme. This makes sure that they have the right skills and standards of workmanship to carry out the installation, and you can be sure that they know exactly what they are doing.

4 TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE BEST INSULATION INSTALLER

1. Thermal inspection picture in portfolio

It’s worth seeing a installer’s previous work. There’s no harm asking if you can see any properties nearby that they’ve installed insulation in. Best way would be to see Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspections. Thermal cameras spot small, but key changes in temperature in different areas of a house, identifying problematic areas that the human eye never could and some that a visual inspection could only hypothesize.

2. Reviews

Along with checking recommendations and previous work, finding reviews online can often be a great way to find out if they provide a good service or not. However, it’s best not to solely rely on reviews you may find or review websites, as there’s no controlling who writes them.

3. Compare prices

Comparing prices will also ensure companies can’t take advantage of you and give you a fair price.

4. Word of Mouth

The best way to find a great insulation installer is through recommendations. Make sure you ask friends and family. They will most likely give you their honest opinion and can tell you from first hand experience.

Whether you require a wall, cladding, external wall, loft or floor insulation fitted, you can find and hire your local insulation installers from popular UK web pages. A simple internet search will return thousands of potential installers near your area.
