Wallrock Magnetwall is an unique liner that allows a wall to be used with magnets, perfect for the office of the kitchen, study or a feature wall in the living room.
Once applied to the wall and allowed to dry for a full 24 hours, further decorative paper such as Wallrock Fibreliner Original or Wallrock Smooth can be applied.
Use the specially developed Wallrock Thermic Adhesive to ensure problem free adhesion, we recommend applying between 100ml and 200ml to the wall surface.
Further 100ml to the reverse of the Wallrock Magnetwall magnetic lining for optimum adhesive performance.
Total adhesive consumption should be between 1.5kg and 2kg depending on surface finish.
All magnets can be used with Wallrock Magnetwall, however we recommend our Neodymium magnets for improved performance.

Wallrock Magnetwall Installation Guide:
· The working temperature (environment and substrate) must be greater than +5°C and less than +25°C.
· Use the specially developed Wallrock Thermic Adhesive to ensure problem free bonding, for best results a consumption of circa 300ml per m2 is recommended.
· Cut all lengths as required, allowing extra for trimming at each end.
· Mark a guideline with a pencil for the first length, using a string line as a guide for vertical drops or a spirit level if preferred (essential if hanging horizontally).
· Applying adhesive to the wall surface and to the reverse side of the Magnet Wall, 100-200ml per m2 is recommended for the wall surface and 100ml per m2 for the reverse of Magnetwall, overall 300ml per m2.
· Once the adhesive has been applied to both surfaces it is then advised to wait 20 minutes before applying Magnetwall to the surface (the adhesive will become semi translucent after 20 minutes).
· Apply the first length along the guide line, smooth out with a soft smoother, and work from the centre of the drop to remove any excess adhesive.
· Do not apply excessive pressure when using a smoothing tool, this can cause damage to the surface.
· Use a former/straight edge and a sharp knife to remove any excess material from the top and bottom of the drop (maintain the effectiveness of the sharp knife blade by regularly changing).
· Good quality decorators shears can be used as an alternative if preferred.
· Use clean warm water and a sponge to remove any adhesive from the front of the Wallrock Magnetwall.
· Butt join all subsequent lengths, being careful not to overlap the edges.
· Allow Wallrock Magnetwall to dry out thoroughly before continuing.
· We recommend a minimum of 24 hours, longer may be required in some circumstances, depending upon the subsurface condition and humidity.
· Once Wallrock Magnetwall has been applied and allowed to dry thoroughly it can be painted using a hard wearing paint.
· Use good quality acrylic eggshell paints offer improved longevity and durability.
· To enhance the finish and allow the application of a wider selection of paints we recommend overhanging with either Fibreliner Original or Fibreliner Smooth using Ekotex adhesive or Wallrock Power Adhesive.
· Carefully plan where the joints of the Fibreliner will fall before hanging, allow the Wallrock Fibreliner to dry thoroughly before continuing.
· We recommend a minimum of 24 hours, longer may be required in some circumstances depending on the subsurface condition and humidity.
· Use a good quality washable paint, we advise an eggshell finish for its hardwearing characteristics, these types of paints better resist marking from repeated magnet use.
· It is also possible to use 'whiteboard' paint or 'blackboard' paint if required.
· We recommend the surface of Wallrock Magnetwall is lined before painting.
· Once the paint has dried the finished surface is ready for use with magnets.
· Whilst all magnets of a suitable size will work on Wallrock Magnetwall.
· We do recommend neodymium magnets for improved performance.

INSTALLERS
No matter whether you choose a local installer or a national company, there’s a few tips to help you find the right installer for your home insulation improvements, such as asking for recommendations and making sure that they’re part of a certification scheme. This makes sure that they have the right skills and standards of workmanship to carry out the installation, and you can be sure that they know exactly what they are doing.
4 TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE BEST INSULATION INSTALLER
1. Thermal inspection picture in portfolio
It’s worth seeing a installer’s previous work. There’s no harm asking if you can see any properties nearby that they’ve installed insulation in. Best way would be to see Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspections. Thermal cameras spot small, but key changes in temperature in different areas of a house, identifying problematic areas that the human eye never could and some that a visual inspection could only hypothesize.
2. Reviews
Along with checking recommendations and previous work, finding reviews online can often be a great way to find out if they provide a good service or not. However, it’s best not to solely rely on reviews you may find or review websites, as there’s no controlling who writes them.
3. Compare prices
Comparing prices will also ensure companies can’t take advantage of you and give you a fair price.
4. Word of Mouth
The best way to find a great insulation installer is through recommendations. Make sure you ask friends and family. They will most likely give you their honest opinion and can tell you from first hand experience.
Whether you require a wall, cladding, external wall, loft or floor insulation fitted, you can find and hire your local insulation installers from popular UK web pages. A simple internet search will return thousands of potential installers near your area.
