Fillcrete is a company specialising in the marketing and distribution of exclusive building products throughout the UK. The origins of Fillcrete are with the supply of concrete expansion joints, manufactured from bitumen impregnated softboard. Company provide solutions for gap filling to combat such issues as differential movement; waterproofing; fire protection; air leakage, heave protection and concrete protection. Company is also able to offer a range of foam products for other areas of application such as scaffold protection, pipe lagging and frost blankets.

FILLABOARD

Fillaboard has been developed specifically to provide a solution and is a high performance quality expansion joint for concrete applications. It is manufactured from specially formulated impregnated fibreboard with a minimum 10% bitumen content. It has been specifically engineered to provide the optimum combination of durability and resilience.

Typical applications would include: concrete paths, foundation slabs, roads, and airport runways. It can also be used as a backfill protection board for below ground applications.

Fillaboard is supplied in sheets and packs of pre-cut strips, in a wide range of sizes. It is lightweight and can be easily cut on site.

BRICKFILL S

Brickfill S is the leading brand of expansion jointing material for movement joints in brick and blockwork. It is a low resistance joint filler, manufactured from high quality closed cell polyethylene and has been specifically designed and developed for all clay fired brickwork, calcium silicate brickwork, and blockwork. BRICKFILL S is ideal for all fired-clay brickwork, calcium silicate brickwork and concrete blockwork applications. It can also be used in poured concrete applications where either a straight joint or contoured profile is required.
Brickfill S is available in individual sheets for cutting on site or 10 metre rolls, pre cut to 100mm and 150mm as standard widths. These are then packaged in ten rolls and bulk wrapped to form a handy lightweight merchant pack

BACKAROD

Backarod is a semi rigid, flexible, circular polyethylene foam, which is used to support the surface sealant and to act as a gap filler. It is of particular use where the expansion joint is not required to fill the whole depth of the joint.
It is available in various diameters from 6mm to 50mm, in standard coil lengths and packed in individual cartons.
 
 

DUAL SEAL MEMBRANE

DUAL SEAL MEMBRANE is a unique self-swelling, self-healing tanking membrane designed for use as a cold applied flexible membrane that provides a barrier to the passage of water in all underground structures. An LG grade is available for reverse tanking and a salt water grade for saline conditions.
 

BITUSHEET XL

BITUSHEET XL Waterproofing Membrane consists of a self-bonding rubber bitumen compound, which is covered on one side with a tough multi-ply, cross laminated polyethylene sheet and protected on the other side by a siliconised release paper. The release paper is removed prior to installation onto a primed concrete surface. Resistant to contaminated ground water, aggressive soils and dilute acids and alkalis. BITUSHEET XL Membrane provides resistance to the passage of Radon and Carbon Dioxide gases better than the standard membrane requirements in BRE Reports 211 and 212.
 

DUAL SEAL WATERSTOP

DUAL SEAL WATERSTOP is a bentonite based waterstop or bar which reacts on contact with water by swelling to form a watertight seal in concrete structures. The product must be fully confined within the concrete structure to form an effective seal. It is primarily used to waterproof construction joints and penetrations in underground reinforced concrete structures. The product is not suitable for use in expansion or movement joints.
 

WALLDRAIN

WALLDRAIN consists of a preformed lightweight HDPE core bonded to a geotextile filter fabric. The filter was specifically developed to permit free entry of water and minimise the risk of soil particles clogging the drainage system. 
WALLDRAIN is designed to be placed with the geotextile filter layer facing the direction of water seepage or backfill. WALLDRAIN can be applied against waterproofing membranes or directly against the masonry/concrete substrate.

FILLCRETE MgO

Fillcrete MgO board on the other hand can be used internally or externally and thanks to the higher density and reinforcing mesh, a single sheet of 12mm Fillcrete MgO can provide up to 90 minutes fire protection. As an internal lining board for walls or ceilings, Fillcrete MgO provides the additional mass required to absorb both impact and airborne sound. Fillcrete MgO can be easily cut using standard cutting tools and fixed with drywall screws.

AIRSEAL

Airseal is a high density, self-expanding joint filler impregnated with chemically stabilised acrylic and backed with a self-adhesive scrim tape. It is supplied in rolls and compressed to allow expansion on release of up to 600% of its original thickness. It will continue to expand until it meets resistance and will therefore completely fill a void. Total expansion times vary between 2 – 24 hours, dependant on the ambient temperatures at the time of installation.

THERMAFILL

THERMAFILL is a BS6515 compliant high performance DPC bonded to a cross linked open cell polyethylene foam. This composite product provides a solution to cold bridging around windows and doors. The main application is in providing insulation at the vertical face when a cavity is being closed around the structural opening.

THERMAFILL is designed to be installed between the leaves of adjoining brick or blockwork, as site work progresses. It is available in rolls and may be simply cut on site to the appropriate length and remains flexible. The DPC’s surface is profiled to allow good mortar adhesion and the foam is compressible to allow for irregularities in the adjoining construction.

FROSTOP 3

FROSTOP 3 is a chemically closed cell non cross linked polyethylene foam specifically designed to provide a cost effective solution for the laying and curing of concrete in temperatures below 5oC. FROSTOP 3 may be used over a wide temperature range of between -300C to 800C It is available in rolls 75 metres by 1.5 metres and is therefore ideal for quick installation over large freshly poured slabs. It may also be easily cut for more difficult shapes.

FILLCRETE FLANKFILLA

FILLCRETE FLANKFILLA is a high quality 30kg closed cell polyolefin strip designed to reduce the transmission of flanking and impact sound around the perimeter of acoustic floor treatments. FLANKFILLA complies with the requirements of Robust Details and may be used in conjunction with acoustic battens, cradles, decking or screed systems.FILLCRETE FLANKFILLA is suitable for use around the perimeter of panelised or screed based acoustic floor systems to reduce the transmission of airborne and impact sound. FLANKFILLA is suitable for new-build, retrofit and renovation projects. The product can be used in both domestic and commercial applications such as hotels, offices and retail environments.

FLANKFILLA is supplied pre-scored to aid fitment and two sizes are available:
