100mm Aluminium Oversill and Window Sill Extension (External Window Sill Extender) is an easy to install non-corrosive profile suitable for external wall insulation systems, rendering and most conditions requiring the weathering.
Universal External Window Sill Extender 100mm is designed to extend the length of an existing window sill to overhang the thermal insulation to prevent water penetration behind the insulated render system and to cover and protect windows from serious damages.
WEC761 Standard External Window Over-Sill Extension is a 2500mm long profile made from 1.2mm thick aluminium, white powder coated on both sides with matching end caps to deliver an exceptional durable finish and improve appearance of the buildings.
If required larger sizes or custom cut (custom made) external window sill extenders can be manufactured to your specific requirements, and powder coated to any colour from 2530 RAL colors and shades collection.
Window Sill Extension (Standard Over-sill) trims can be fitted either with a low-expansion foam or a weatherproof silicone sealant to meet the recommendations of thermal insulation systems manufacturers.
Aluminium Sill Profiles tend to be stronger than uPVC and provide greater design flexibility than uPVC products.
Over-sill extension is suitable for newbuild, retrofit and refurbishment projects in accordance with the most frequently used shapes on buildings.
Window over sill for EWI is delivered with a blue peel off low tack film to protect the section during transportation and fixing on site.
This exterior window sill extension is mainly used for insulated render systems based on EPS (Grey or White Expanded Polystyrene), Kingspan K5 boards or Rockwool slabs.
Universal Window Sill Extenders are made of a self-hardening aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon additives that is distinguished by its outstanding formability and high corrosion resistance.
Aluminium is an eco-friendly and 100% recyclable material with no loss of quality and is the most frequently recovered metal used in the construction industry.
Easy to handle and install universal aluminium external over-sill extenders and window sill extensions are available in: 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, 110mm, 120mm, 130mm, 140mm, 150mm, 160mm, 170mm, 180mm, 190mm and 200mm widths.

INSTALLERS
No matter whether you choose a local installer or a national company, there’s a few tips to help you find the right installer for your home insulation improvements, such as asking for recommendations and making sure that they’re part of a certification scheme. This makes sure that they have the right skills and standards of workmanship to carry out the installation, and you can be sure that they know exactly what they are doing.
4 TIPS FOR CHOOSING THE BEST INSULATION INSTALLER
1. Thermal inspection picture in portfolio
It’s worth seeing a installer’s previous work. There’s no harm asking if you can see any properties nearby that they’ve installed insulation in. Best way would be to see Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspections. Thermal cameras spot small, but key changes in temperature in different areas of a house, identifying problematic areas that the human eye never could and some that a visual inspection could only hypothesize.
2. Reviews
Along with checking recommendations and previous work, finding reviews online can often be a great way to find out if they provide a good service or not. However, it’s best not to solely rely on reviews you may find or review websites, as there’s no controlling who writes them.
3. Compare prices
Comparing prices will also ensure companies can’t take advantage of you and give you a fair price.
4. Word of Mouth
The best way to find a great insulation installer is through recommendations. Make sure you ask friends and family. They will most likely give you their honest opinion and can tell you from first hand experience.
Whether you require a wall, cladding, external wall, loft or floor insulation fitted, you can find and hire your local insulation installers from popular UK web pages. A simple internet search will return thousands of potential installers near your area.
