525mm Ancon Teplo-BF3 Cavity Wall Tie is a Masonry Basic Type BF-3 composite cavity wall tie manufactured from pultruded basalt fibres with thermal conductivity of 0.7W/mK.
The Type 3 Teplo BF 3 is a BBA certified product and can be used in line with NHBC standards to prevent heat escape from the buildings.
BF3 Teplo wall ties are available in: 450mm, 475mm, 500mm and 525mm lengths to suit cavities from 301mm to 400mm.
The 525mm Ancon Teplo-BF3 Masonry Basic Type 3 Ties are suitable for 376mm to 400mm cavities.
Ancon Teplo BF3 has professional moulded safety ends which offer improved buildability and mortar bond strength.
The enhanced bond makes it ideal for use in slow drying lime mortars.
Teplo-BF3 has innovative movable 'O' ring drip to prevent water crossing the cavity.
Masonry Basic Type 3 Cavity Wall Tie is designed for domestic and small commercial buildings.
Suitable for flat sites where the basic wind speed is up to 27m/s and altitude is not more than 150meters above the sea level.
Ancon Teplo BF3 wall tie can be used in external walls of domestic houses up to 15meters in height.
Recommended design embedment of the tie is between 62.5mm and 75mm in each leaf.
