25mm Foil Backed Double Sided Insulation Slab RW3 (11.52m²/pack) is an aluminium foil faced on both sides stone wool resin bonded slab developed to prevent the spread of flames and inhibit heat and smoke through concealed spaces in buildings.

Rockwool RW3 Foil Faced Two Sides Fire Barrier Slab 25mm x 600mm x 1200mm fire performance integrity is 240 minutes, and 60 minutes for the insulation core with a certified thermal conductivity of 0.034W/mK.

Foil Faced Both Sides Rockwool RW3 Fire Barrier Slab is a medium density (60kg per m3) non-combustible foil backed double sided material with an excellent fire performance classified as Euroclass A1 / Class 'O'.

Fire Barrier Slab offers great thermal, acoustic and fire insulation properties, is water repellent, durable, cost effective, easy to handle and install solution that is suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects.

Rockwool Double Sided Aluminium Foil Slabs are simple butt joint products that can be used where fire resistant walls need to be continued above a ceiling into the roof void.

RW3 Foil Faced Two Sided Slab conforms with the Building Regulations Approved Document B and fulfils all normal fire insulation requirements for division of space.

Special sizes and thicknesses are available, made to order: black or white tissue and aluminium foil facings on one or both sides are available in 600mm wide by 1200mm long insulation slabs.

Rockwool insulation does not contain gases that have ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP).

Rockwool Foil Faced 2 Sides Certification, Standards and Approvals:

 · Fire Slab has been independently tested and assessed to BS 476: Part 20 and Part 22 by accredited laboratories.

 · Rockwool achieves a reaction to fire classification of A1 as defined in BS EN 13501:1.

 · They are third party approved for performance and quality by the Loss Prevention Council Certification board (LPCB) and are listed in their Fire and Security ‘Red Book’ - certificate no. 022c/02.

 · The product has been authorised for use in LUL surface and sub-surface premises when installed in accordance with the data sheet.

 · Rockwool Fire Slab has been tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010 achieving Rw 23dB. Test Report N° C/23667/T01.
