575mm Ancon Teplo BF4 Cavity Wall Tie is a Masonry Light Duty Type 4 composite wall tie manufactured from pultruded basalt fibres with very low thermal conductivity of 0.7W/mK, used in external walls of domestic dwellings up to 10meters in height.
Type 4 Teplo BF 4 is a BBA certified product and can be used in line with NHBC standards to prevent heat escape from the buildings.
BF4 masonry wall ties are available in: 200mm, 225mm, 250mm, 550mm and 575mm lengths to suit cavities from 50mm to 125mm and from 401mm to 450mm.
The 575mm Ancon Teplo-BF4 Masonry Light Duty Type 4 Ties are suitable for 426mm to 450mm cavities.
Ancon Teplo BF4 has professional moulded safety ends which offer improved buildability and mortar bond strength.
The enhanced bond makes it ideal for use in slow drying lime mortars.
Teplo BF4 has innovative movable 'O' ring drip to prevent water crossing the cavity.
Masonry Light Duty Type 4 Cavity Wall Tie is designed for box form domestic dwellings with leaves of similar thickness.
Suitable for flat sites where the basic wind speed is up to 31m/s and altitude is not more than 150meters above the sea level.
Recommended design embedment of the tie is between 62.5mm and 75mm in each leaf.
