Kingspan Nilvent Breathable Membrane is a strong and durable waterproof breathable membrane suitable for use in unventilated pitched roof and timber frame wall applications, a completely watertight structure under normal weather conditions.
Nilvent® Breathable Membrane by Kingspan comprises a laminated, 3–layer polyolefin construction that provides great airtightness at normal building pressures.
The top layer provides protection from UV and mechanical damage, the middle layer is the functional layer, and the bottom layer provides abrasion resistance.
Kingspan Nilvent is available in a standard membrane size 1500mm wide by 50m long rolls and 0.4mm thickness with 75m2 roll coverage.
Breathable Membrane is an easy to handle and install lightweight membrane with an approximate weight of 0.13kg/m2 (9.8kg per roll).
Waterproof Breathable Membrane Kingspan Nilvent retains its strength and flexibility at temperatures down to –40ºC and up to +80ºC.
This product can be left exposed on a roof or wall for a period of up to 2 months, after which time it must be fully protected from UV–light.
Kingspan nilvent® has a light grey upper surface, printed with the Kingspan Nilvent logo, and a dark grey lower surface.
Nilvent is manufactured to the highest standards and its use is covered by BBA Certificate 11/4870.
