50mm Rockwool RWA45 Standard 45kg/m3 Insulation Slab is a robust, non-combustible resin bonded semi-rigid fire resistant insulation slab designed for use in floors, roofs at rafter level, partitions, ceilings, steel and timber frame walls.
Using Acoustic RWA45 Insulation in ceilings, walls and floors can help to sectionalize rooms, reducing fire spread and damage (Class ‘0’ Building Regulations) for both new build and refurbishment projects.
Rockwool RWA45 50mm is an unfaced, odourless, non-hygroscopic stone wool insulation slab with a certified thermal conductivity (λ - lambda value) of 0.035W/mK.
These thermal and acoustic insulation slabs are free of CFCs and HCFCs and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.
Rockwool stone wool products work in two distinct ways to reduce noise, either by impeding the transmission of sound through an element of the structure or by absorption of sound at the surface.
The structure of the fibres in RWA45 acoustic slabs make them ideal for use as a sound absorber with water repellent qualities of the insulation preventing moisture build up, damp and rot.
RWA45 Slab is a robust long-lasting insulation material made from renewable resources which will maintain high performance over the lifetime of the building (ODP and GWP free).
Thermal and acoustic slabs are easy to cut and shape with a large bladed knife or saw.
Rockwool RWA45 insulation slabs are made from natural, sustainable and recyclable resources.
