Rockwool RWA45 Foil Faced Fire Slab 75mm is a class 'O' aluminium foil faced fire and acoustic stone wool core insulation slab developed to prevent the spread of flames and inhibit heat and smoke through concealed spaces in buildings.
Foil Faced Slab is a simple butt joint product that can be used where fire resistant walls need to be continued above a ceiling into the roof void.
They conform with the Building Regulations Approved Document B and fulfil all normal fire insulation requirements for division of space.
75mm Foil Faced Rockwool RWA45 Insulation Slab is a standard density (45kg/m3) non-combustible foil backed fire slab with a great fire performance classified as Euroclass A1, suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects.
Rockwool RWA45 Foil Faced Fire Slab 75mm x 600mm x 1200mm fire performance integrity is 240 minutes, and 60 minutes for the insulation core with a certified lambda (thermal conductivity) of 0.035W/mK.
Foil Faced Fire Slab offers excellent thermal, acoustic and fire insulation properties, is water repellent, durable, cost effective, easy to handle and install solution.
Special sizes and thicknesses are available, made to order: black or white tissue and aluminium foil facings on one or both sides are available in 600mm x 1200mm insulation slabs.
Rockwool insulation does not contain gases that have ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP).

Rockwool Certification, Standards and Approvals:
· Fire Slab has been independently tested and assessed to BS 476: Part 20 and Part 22 by accredited laboratories.
· Rockwool achieves a reaction to fire classification of A1 as defined in BS EN 13501:1.
· They are third party approved for performance and quality by the Loss Prevention Council Certification board (LPCB) and are listed in their Fire and Security ‘Red Book’ - certificate no. 022c/02.
· The product has been authorised for use in LUL surface and sub-surface premises when installed in accordance with the data sheet.
· Rockwool Fire Slab has been tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010 achieving Rw 23dB. Test Report N° C/23667/T01.
· The safety of Rockwool stone wool is confirmed by current UK and Republic of Ireland health and safety regulations and EU directive 97/69/EC:Rockwool fibres are not classified as a possible human carcinogen.
