Ceresit CT137 MINERAL DRY RENDER is a 1.5mm grain decorative thin coat plaster for indoor and outdoor applications designed by experts, used for performing thin layer plasters on concrete or gypsum substrates.

We recommend the application of CT137 as façade plaster (External Wall Insulation Systems) with the application of an EPS boards (Expanded Polystyrene panels) or mineral wool slabs (Rockwool).

The mineral plaster CT137 is manufactured in white colour and in option to be painted (Ceresit Paints: CT42, CT48 and CT49).

Plaster should be evenly applied to the substrate at the thickness of the grain by means of a steel long float held at the angle.

Then, it should be given homogenous structure with round movements by means of a plastic long float flatly held to achieve the appearance of densely laid out aggregate grains structure.

Assumed consumption of CT137 mineral render: from 2.0 to 2.4 kg per m2 (approx. coverage 12.5m2 per bag)

Work should be done on one surface without breaks, dosing the same amount of water.

Do not sprinkle plaster with water!

Key Points:

 · Highly Durable

 · Hydrophobic

 · Highly non-inflammable

 · Highly vapour permeable (breathable)

 · Resistant to weather conditions

 · Naturally resistant to fungi, algae and mould

 · Possibility of mechanical application

 · Manufactured in white as well as in the option to be painted

Ceresit CT137 is used for making thin layer plasters on thermal insulation systems, concrete substrates, traditional plasters, gypsum substrates and gypsum cardboards, gypsum-fi bre boards, etc.

We recommend performing ceilings’ warming (from the side of ceilings) within Ceresit Ceretherm Wool Garage System, with the application of mineral wool boards.

The whole content of the packaging should be poured into the measured amount of clean, cool water and mixed by means of the drill with a mixer until the homogenous mass without lumps is obtained.

Possible machine application - recommended machine, e.g. Wagner PC 15, PC 830, SPG Baumaschinen PG 20 nozzle size 6 m.m.

CT137 includes cement and while mixed with water it shows alkaline reaction.

Therefore skin and eyes should be protected.

In case of contact with eyes, they should be rinsed with water and the general practitioner should be consulted.

No matter whether you choose a local installer or a national company, there’s a few tips to help you find the right installer for your home insulation improvements, such as asking for recommendations and making sure that they’re part of a certification scheme. This makes sure that they have the right skills and standards of workmanship to carry out the installation, and you can be sure that they know exactly what they are doing.

1. Thermal inspection picture in portfolio

It’s worth seeing a installer’s previous work. There’s no harm asking if you can see any properties nearby that they’ve installed insulation in. Best way would be to see Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspections. Thermal cameras spot small, but key changes in temperature in different areas of a house, identifying problematic areas that the human eye never could and some that a visual inspection could only hypothesize.

2. Reviews

Along with checking recommendations and previous work, finding reviews online can often be a great way to find out if they provide a good service or not. However, it’s best not to solely rely on reviews you may find or review websites, as there’s no controlling who writes them.

3. Compare prices

Comparing prices will also ensure companies can’t take advantage of you and give you a fair price.

4. Word of Mouth

The best way to find a great insulation installer is through recommendations. Make sure you ask friends and family. They will most likely give you their honest opinion and can tell you from first hand experience.

Whether you require a wall, cladding, external wall, loft or floor insulation fitted, you can find and hire your local insulation installers from popular UK web pages. A simple internet search will return thousands of potential installers near your area.
