Ceresit CT48 Silicone Paint is a highly breathable, extremely durable, waterproof and resistant to environmental pollutants silicone self clean paint designed for buildings in busy areas or humid environments. 

Ceresit CT48 is used for protecting facades, concrete constructions, indoor and outdoor applications – available in more than 200 colours, catering to every taste!

CT48 Paint can be applied on the mineral substrates (concrete, cement plasters, lime–cement plasters and lime plasters). 

The structure of the coating ensures fast moisture evaporation from the substrate and at the same time creates efficient protection against the substrate moisture and humidity. 

The binder used in the paint CT48 causes pearl like effect of water after wetting the coat. 

CT48 paint has high vapour permeability with very low water absorption and high dirt resistance (Double Dry Technology). 

It is highly recommended to use CT48 in historical objects, on the renovation and aerated plasters as well as on all the surfaces where aesthetic qualities and duration of the coating is required. 

The facades covered with the paint CT48 can be washed with washing devices operating under low pressure. 

The paint has protection from biological contamination, such as fungi, mould or algae, increasing its resistance to their effects.

Due to special capsules with biocide agent, release of substances is under control and ensures long lasting effect.

Specification:

CT48 can be used for painting Ceresit CT34, CT35 and CT137 mineral plasters, Ceresit CT60 acrylic plaster, Ceresit CT72, CT73 silicate plasters,

Ceresit CT174, CT175 silicate-silicone plasters as well as silicone plasters Ceresit CT74, CT75 and elastomeric plaster Ceresit CT79 applied on traditional substrates.

The exposure of the facade to the sun causes dangerous tensions, therefore dark colours should be used only on small areas, e.g. architectural details. 

Ceresit CT48 paint has protection from biological contamination, such as fungi, mould or algae.

 

Important:

 · Skin and eyes should be protected.

 · Stains should be carefully rinsed with water.

 · Protective gloves and glasses should be worn while applying the paint.

 · Application should be performed in dry conditions with the ambient and substrate temperature ranging from +5 °C to +25 °C and the humidity below 80 %. 

 · The paint may cause decolouration impossible to be removed on glass, ceramic, wooden, metal and stone surfaces, therefore all the elements in contact with CT 48 should be protected.

 · In case of contact with eyes, they should be rinsed with water and the general practitioner should be consulted.

 · The performance characteristics are given in the text of corresponding to the product Declaration of Performance

 · This product should be stored out of reach of children

 · Do not sprinkle paint with water!
