EWI-360 Fungicidal Wash EWI Pro 5l is an ideal product for killing mould, algae, lichen, and mildew to prepare a substrate prior to applying External Wall insulation (EWI) or render systems.
This product takes just 24 hours to kill all microorganisms on the substrate, including algae, mould and lichen.
You can apply the wash using either a brush, sponge or cloth.
EWI-360 Fungicidal Wash can be used internally or externally on many different surfaces including brickwork, stone, wood and plaster.
The active ingredient in EWI-360 is a Benzalkanium Chloride, a proven biocide.
EWI-360 is ready to use straight out of the bottle, but should be mixed within its container before use, it should not be diluted with water or any other material.
A 5-litre jerry can of the EWI-360 will cover between 20 – 30m2.
Do not add Fungicidal Wash to paints, primers or renders.
EWI-360 Fungicidal Wash 5l is a standalone product.
EWI Pro Render Cleaner Application:
· One coat of EWI-360 Fungicidal Wash should be applied by a brush or spray machine to a damp (but not waterlogged) substrate.
· Where there is an excessive amount of organic growth, apply two coats but allow the first coat to dry properly before applying the second.
· After application, leave for 24 hours and then wash down the surface if it is to be rendered or decorated.
· A 5 litre tub of the fungicidal wash will cover between 20 – 30m2.
Substrate Preparation:
· Ensure that the substrate is clean, dry and dust-free.
· Before application, remove all organic growth, dirt, dust, grease etc. with a stiff bristled brush.
