EWI-240 Express Foam Adhesive for Internal and External Wall Insulation is a strong low pressure, quick setting polyurethane foam adhesive used for fixing EPS, XPS and PIR insulation boards.
This one-component low expansion premium foam adhesive provides an excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates and can be also used for filling gaps and stopping draughts.
EWI-240 EPS and XPS Adhesive is an easy and convenient to use express foam adhesive that enables anchoring 2 hours after application, full curing 24 hours after application.
PU Foam Adhesive is used for bonding EPS and XPS boards on facade installations for thermal insulation of external walls, polystyrene sheets, windows sills and filling gaps in the insulation.
This unique foam adhesive has excellent adhesion to concrete, ceramic, wood, PVC, and all types of polystyrene and plasters substrates.
EWI-240 Express Foam Adhesive is extremely efficient covering from 8m² up to 12m² depending on air humidity and temperature.
Express Foam Adhesive can be used internally and externally for fixing external wall insulation boards and insulated boards.
Working and substrate temperature for PU Foam Adhesive is from -5°C up to maximum +30°C.

What do I need to be able to apply the express foam adhesive?
To apply the foam adhesive, you will need a Foam Applicator Gun, which can be purchased here.
How long does it take for EPS Adhesive to dry?
EPS Adhesive enables anchoring 2 hours after application and full curing 24 hours after application.
After 2 hours, the boards should be polished with abrasive paper and fixed with special mechanical fixings
Additionally, you should fill in the gaps between boards using EPS Adhesive.
How much correction time do I have if I make a mistake?
When applying EPS Express foam Adhesive, you will have approximately 4 minutes at +25°C and relative humidity of 40-50%.
To correct the positioning of the EPS (expanded polystyrene) boards without detaching the board from the surface if you make a mistake.
In the case of detachment, reapply EPS Foam Adhesive.
Do I need mechanical fixings if I use EPS Express Foam Adhesive?
Yes, after 2 hours, the boards should be polished with an abrasive tool and fixed with special mechanical fixings and are required in the plinth area and along the edge of the building.
What temperatures can I use EPS Express Foam Adhesive in?
Although room temperature is recommended, you can use EPS Adhesive in a temperature range from +5°C up to +30°C.
Optimum temperature for application is from +20°C up to +25°C and relative humidity of 40-50%.
Additionally, the can should be at a temperature of +20°C.
